Safety

Being locked up is already quite frightening for some guests. In any case, it is a major misconception that you are always locked in. This is also the case with our Escape Rooms; for us, it is about dismantling a 'bomb' or exchanging a sustainable asset. The door is always open and there are emergency exits present that are also always unlocked. Additionally, we have a first aid room at all locations and various fire extinguishers are available. In Hellevoetsluis, there is even an AED on the outside wall.

We have smoke detectors in every room and all rooms have cameras, so a fire or other emergency situation is clearly visible and can be detected quickly. The green lighting of the signs next to all doors points the way to the emergency exits. Furthermore, all players receive instructions on what to do in an emergency. Players are also unable to lock each other in anywhere, in order to prevent panic. We have an evacuation plan and a floor plan is available to the Escape Room supervisors. In addition, several floor plans are posted in the rooms so that guests know where they are and how to get outside. Finally, the staff is well-instructed on what to do in an emergency. We have a safety protocol available in every Escape Room.
